Greetings to you!

I am a passionate follower of Jesus Christ, a happily married man of 47 years with my amazing wife Lori, a Father of 3 Sons & Daughters in Love, 6 Grandchildren, a Patriot Preacher, Pastoring for 20 years and an American loving Patriot who believes and stands on defending the Biblically sound and morally just values our country was founded upon. As a 1978 Sapulpa Chieftain graduate, my Sapulpa roots are strong with life lessons born through such leaders as George C. Brite, Mike Shanahan, Donnie Nero, VeDon Law and Coach Bailey. There were of course many others including the late hours spent working at the old Ken’s Pizza (now Steak ’n Eggs) for Don Bradley. I love Sapulpa and my desire is to represent Christ, protect our families and guard our community from any spiritual, political and cultural influences that would seek to undermine our Sapulpans.

Thank YOU for voting Feb 10th!

Finally, why am I running? Motive is important. Therefore, is the goal of running simply to un-seat someone else…?…or is it only to second guess past decisions and convince myself and others that I certainly could have done better? We know that hindsight is 2020 vision, and every one of us can spend time all our time looking in the rearview mirror, focused only on the past (which BTW, includes good and bad as well as some in-between)…Or we can get our eyes on where we are now, where we are heading and make sure the direction we’re going is in the best interest of families, especially our children, our city and our future.

My motive is simple; It is to utilize the gifting and 66 years of broad experiences to serve well the people in the #1 Ward, and to well serve the city of Sapulpa within the calling of God on my life. I will not as much be campaigning, as I will be evangelizing…which in this context refers to sharing a strongly held belief based on prophecy written by Isaiah in Chapter 9, verse 6 which says “For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given, and the government shall be upon His shoulders”, which should be a common cause for the good of our city. Since God created human government, it is therefore inconceivable that God would then tell His people to stay out of it. So when you hear me use the phrase evangelism, it is not to get a nod or say a scripted prayer, but it is to manifest Jesus through my life, every step of the way to the wonderful constituents of Ward 1 and beyond. Remember that passage in Matthew 5 that declares we are salt and light in the earth? We often only consider God’s laws to be spiritual when in fact they specify the Government God established.  Some examples include how you could mortgage your land for up to six years of the value of your labor. There were rules for sanitary safety. Why? God is concerned with health and wellbeing of His people. They were required to rest so they wouldn’t be overworked. There were directions for taking care of the poor, not handouts, but charity so they could work for food and feel the satisfaction of providing for themselves. There were rules pertaining to morality, the family, military. Fair trials could only be established at the mouths of 2 or 3 witnesses. Sound familiar? A dive into the scriptures will reveal God’s design for Self Government, Family Government, Church Government and Civic Government. Our forefathers were not only influenced by the scriptures but framed legislature based on The Bible, fueled by sermons being delivered from pulpits of influential Patriot Pastors.

My sincere hope and prayer is that this evangelizing may even lead to my being elected.

"Mike Harris has my full endorsement for the office of Sapulpa City Council. Why run for City Council now you might ask.

I believe this to be the perfect time to serve Sapulpa.

My broad range of hands on multi-media and management experience strengthens my credibility and ability to serve; Such as serving as a General Manager for 2 National Television Networks, also as Regional Manager over stations in Missouri, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Chicago and Hawaii. I was the VP/COO over 3 hospitals and a nursing agency. Prior to that I was the primary buyer for Hobby Lobby Stores, setting up the first of many Mardel Christian Bookstores, and not to mention having poured thousands of yards of concrete across Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas on residential as well as commercial projects; including schools, churches, Libraries, City Hall, runways on military bases like Vance Air force in Enid, Air National Guard in Tulsa and many more. I was honored to have traveled across the nation for over 20 years as Emcee & Lead Singer with The Ambassadors. These background highlights provide the "why now" in which I will be able to be a strong addition to the council.  I also am a member of City Elders, a Biblical movement bringing unity to protect faith, family and freedom.
